Þetta er eitt af þeim fjölmörgu verkum sem ég hef stjórnað vítt og breitt frá 1973-2021. Compositions that I have conducted far and wide 1973-2021.It so happens that I was present at this concert in Royal Albert Hall in the summer of 1968 at the proms in London. Jacqueline broke a string and ran off stage to get a new one. Her husband Daniel, the orchestra and the audience waited patiently for her to return and finish this magnificent concerto. Jacqueline was dead not long after this. Unforgetable for a 17 year old boy from Reykjavik.
